Peter Bouyoucos founded Middlemark Partners in 2012. Prior to founding Middlemark, Peter was a partner with London-based
hedge fund advisor Sussex Partners, where he expanded their client base to include single manager hedge funds.
Before helping new and emerging funds grow, Peter was a Partner and Head of Business Development at Platinum Grove Asset Management. During his nine years with the firm, Peter was responsible for building and managing a multi-billion-dollar investor base with a strong international and institutional focus. Peter expanded Platinum Grove’s assets under management (AUM) to over $6 billion.
Before building Platinum Grove’s investor base and AUM to a multi-billion-dollar level, Peter spent 14 years with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley developing and marketing strategies and products for pensions and financial institutions. His background includes leadership and expertise in asset/liability management and the convergence of the reinsurance and capital markets.
Peter received an AB in Economics from the University of Michigan, where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Daniel MacDonald leads Middlemark’s Advisory mandates and has become a key resource within the Pension and Investment community, where he helps North America’s most sophisticated allocators improve their organizations’ operational and investment efficiency.
His background and consulting work has led him to become one of the industry’s top experts in Managed Account Platform best practices and implementation. Daniel spent sixteen years with Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board (OTPP), where he was responsible for manager selection, portfolio construction, and investment due diligence, among other duties.
He successfully managed a portfolio of hedge fund managers that covered a diverse range of liquid strategies, including Equity Long/Short, Systematic Equity, Event-Driven Equity, Managed Futures, and Alternative Beta/Smart Beta/Low Cost Generics. His leadership was instrumental in the effort to transition OTPP from Fund of Funds to direct investing and from commingled hedge funds to separately managed accounts—a continuing hallmark of Middlemark’s Advisory work. Daniel received an LL.B from York University’s
Osgoode Hall Law School, an MBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business, and a BBA from York University.
He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Jeff Lee brings an experienced allocator’s perspective to third party marketing. He spent eight years with Nikko Asset Management, where he was responsible for establishing the hedge fund of funds and external manager business. He successfully grew the firm’s external manager platform to over $30 billion via his allocations.
Prior to Nikko, Jeff worked for ACAM Advisors, a hedge fund of funds, where he managed portfolios as the Director of Alternative Investments. He helped improve asset growth by creating outperforming portfolios and risk management processes,
as well as institutionalizing the client relationship process.
Jeff has also served as a portfolio manager for several equity portfolios with Fahnestocks
& Inc. and Nikko Securities International. He designed and built quantitative market neutral strategies, the risk management system, and trading platform for these portfolios. During the infancy of the derivatives industry, Jeff was one of the pioneers who designed and developed models to price and hedge all exotic derivative structure products for UBS, Morgan Stanley, and Lehman Brothers.
In his life prior to Wall Street, Jeff designed supercomputers with IBM and holds two patents from his time there. He received an MBA
from NYU Stern School of Business, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of NYU, a BS in Computer Science from

Luke Hinshelwood is a Managing Director at Middlemark Partners. Previously, Luke was a Business Development Director at Augentius,
a global administrator of alternative investment funds, where he was responsible for emerging Private Equity Funds.
Prior to working in the alternative investment industry, Luke worked in commercial banking in the Washington,
D.C. region, providing real estate development loans.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from Centre College in Kentucky. Luke Hinshelwood is a Registered Representative with Yosemite, and all securities are offered through Yosemite Execution Partners Inc.

Andrew Kucharski is a Director at Middlemark Partners. Previously, Andrew was a Senior Consultant Relations Associate at
Conning Investment Management, a specialty insurance asset manager, where he was responsible for
helping consultants with their understanding of Conning's investment capabilities, providing them
with value-added research, and maintaining consultant databases.
Prior to his position on the Consultant Relations team, Andrew also spent time with Conning's
Institutional Solutions and Business Development teams. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business
from the University of Connecticut.
